Running your own business is not as glamorous as it sounds, in fact it's far from it. Most days I find my self dragging a big suit case filled with fabrics, trimmings and steamers from one location to another. No one day is the same, one day I could be out & about sourcing out fabrics and other days I am in studio cutting patterns, meeting with manufacturers, fabric suppliers and answering emails. 

Since I am the CEO & the employe of my business I have to wear many hats which can be stress full at times. But as Steve Jobs said, 

“I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did”

I love what I do and I have always wanted to have my own brand, however that is not the only reason why I started my brand. The fashion industry is going through a change specifically in regards to sustainability and I wanted to be part of that change. I want to create a brand that celebrates sustainability, community, inclusivity and diversity. Now I know we have a long way to go but I do believe in doing what we can individually and collectively as a community!
